Buying and Staking $CHANGE on HydraDEX and Uniswap — complete guide

Let’s get straight to the point — this is another guide on trading and staking, but this time outside of the ChangeX app. Here we will show you how to do it in the browser-based version of the HydraDEX and on Uniswap for the ERC20 version of $CHANGE. Let’s go.

Buying and staking CHANGE on the browser-based HydraDEX — a guide

Buying and staking CHANGE in the browser-based version of the HydraDEX demands a few extra steps, but is ultimately a pretty straightforward process. Here’s what you need to do.

💡 First thing’s first — access the browser-based HydraDEX at https://hydradex.org. Once there, make sure to bookmark it, so you don’t accidentally end up on a different domain in the future.

You are now at the main screen. This is what it looks like:

💰 Once there, you will need to connect your Hydra wallet.

Click on “Connect to a wallet” in the upper right corner of the screen and input your password, then press on “Login”. The login screen should appear in the upper right corner, like this:

🔗 Once your wallet is successfully connected, you can proceed with swapping some HYDRA (or any other token you’re using) for CHANGE. To do this, and if you’re not already there, click on the “Swap” menu at the top of the page. This is where it takes you:

Once here, pretty much all you need to do is select your token of choice in the upper “From” field, and select CHANGE in the “To” field on the bottom.

🎉🎉 Hit “Swap” and you’ve got yourself some brand new CHANGE in your wallet! 🎉🎉

In order to view your newly bought $CHANGE tokens, you can add them to the Hydra wallet browser extension.

Add token — Hydra wallet browser extension:

Open the Hydra wallet browser extension and go to the “Tokens” tab.

Click on “ADD TOKEN” and fill in the $CHANGE contract address:

You can now see your $CHANGE tokens!

Staking CHANGE via the HydraDEX

The process of staking is likewise not overly complicated. Here’s what you need to do.

Step 1: Click on the Stake option at the top of the screen. Because your wallet is already connected, this is the Staking screen that greets you:

Step 2: Specify the number of CHANGE tokens you want to stake in the “Amount” field. Clicking on MAX will input your entire CHANGE balance up for staking.

To stake your selected number of tokens, simply hit the blue “Stake” button below — once that’s done, you’re already earning.

The “Restake” button next to it allows you to compound your rewards in order to also earn on them, and you can use compounding as often as you like, but keep in mind that standard on-chain transaction fees will apply.

If you would like to unstake your already staked CHANGE, then the amount has to be lower or equal to the staked amount.

Buying and Staking $CHANGE on Uniswap

First and foremost, you need to import the $CHANGE token to your wallet. We will be using Metamask.

Click on “import tokens” at the bottom of your wallet to add the CHANGE token and go to “Custom token” in the pop-up that appeared. To add the token, simply fill in the contract address of the $CHANGE token on the Ethereum network.

💡 Click on “Add Custom Token” and $CHANGE will be visible in your wallet!

Now, go to Uniswap: https://app.uniswap.org/#/swap?chain=mainnet and connect your wallet. Make sure you are on the Ethereum network.

Switch from ETH to USDC in the Swap window. CHANGE is traded against USDC:

Then click on “Select a token” and fill in the smart contract address of the $CHANGE token again, as you did in your wallet.

$CHANGE will appear shortly after that and then click on “Import”:

Then you will be able to swap USDC for $CHANGE immediately!

In order to stake, you need your $CHANGE to be on the Hydra chain, so you need to bridge it. Use the Hydra Bridge from ETH to Hydra and start reaping the high staking rewards of $CHANGE.
